As I've begun to eliminate more and more of the toxic chemicals from my home, I've learned to love essential oils. I had heard about them in the past, but wasn't really at that point in life where I felt I needed to learn more about them. I know, it sounds dumb. However, when you feel like you are too young to have to worry about things I guess you could say dumb is an appropriate term.
Before my MS diagnosis, I had slowly started leaning toward more natural products for my home. I didn't concern myself with reading the labels on these "natural" products, but it says natural so it should be good enough. Right? Well, that's not necessarily the case with a lot of the products on the market that claim to be "natural". A quick look at the label is a good indicator as to whether or not what you are buying is truly delivering what it claims. If you see products with mumbo jumbo, scientific terminology then, chances are, it's probably not as natural as you'd like.
Since I have started doing my homework and making my own home cleaning remedies, I've learned the benefits of eliminating the toxic waste I had previously used. In doing so, I've began to learn more and more about essential oils. There are many different makers of essential oils on the market. The one I've learned the most about and the one that seems to fit my family's needs the best would have to be dōTERRA.
Their essential oils are CPTG which stands for Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade oils. This means they have been tested and received strict quality certifications. They are so pure and beneficial, you can ingest them, use them topically, and diffuse them throughout your home. Plus many more uses. They are a natural alternative to the pharmaceutical industry that seems to be getting more and more expensive and toxic. Trust me, when your medicine costs around $5,000 per month and has no guarantees to work (not to mention, is incredibly painful to take), you tend to try different therapies.
Since I'm the go-getter type of person, I didn't just decide to just purchase dōTERRA for my own use, I decided to become an Independent Product Consultant. I have done quite a bit of research and their company fits my needs. I can help others to get healthy using dōTERRA products and in return start earning the oils and vitamins I need for less. It's a win-win situation. I was already planning on buying them, now I get a discount and I can earn income as well.
If you are an essential oil nut like me and would like to start on the path to your own business, please email me at womaninthemancave@yahoo.com for more information about dōTERRA. I don't broadcast about products I don't find useful or healthy in some way. dōTERRA does both.
I know this was off the Pinterest challenge topic I've been on for a while, but I had to share this opportunity. I feel like people can benefit and potentially change their lives.
Thanks for reading.
Take care.
