Abe's Market is Naturally the Best!

Abe's Market Order from Woman in the Man Cave

I recently had the opportunity to try some products from a fabulous online store by the name of Abe's Market.  Now, if you're not familiar with them, then you are in for a treat. You all know I have been re-inventing my life since my multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis almost two years ago. I have searched the internet for products that are eco-friendly and also safe for my home environment. I was lucky enough to come across Abe's Market. They carry products that are natural, safe for families and even pets.

Abe's let me pick a few items to try. They have such a huge selection of products that I didn't know where to start. I went with the products I use on a daily basis. I picked a few hand soaps, some charcoal detox soap and some natural deodorant. I came away with some products that I'll definitely be purchasing again.

Abe's Market - Woman in the Man CaveOne of my favorites would have to be the Common Goods Coriander Hand Soap. It smells so good and does the job right! Not only does it smell like summer, it also has the power to cut grease. I don't know how many times a week I get buttery, greasy hands from cooking. I tested this soap on it's ability to break down grime and it does an amazing job. I was a bit surprised at how well it did. Definitely a keeper!                                                                                                                                                                                                                If I had to pick an item that I didn't really care for, it would be the Schmidt's Ylang-Ylang-Calendula Deodorant. It was a great quality product, don't get me wrong. It came with a small spatula to help scoop the stuff out with which was nice. It just didn't smell like I imagined it would. It may have been that my pH did't blend well with the scent, but it didn't work well for me at all. I just kept feeling like I was wearing old perfume. The scent didn't last long either. Overall, I don't think I'd purchase this product. It may work better for others, but not for me.

Abe's Market - Woman in the Man CaveThe Primal Pit Paste in Lavendar was really great. I think lavendar has the ability to go with any body type. It has that relaxing quality. It was easy to apply and I could smell it for a good part of the day. Good stuff!                                                                                                                                                      The next product I tried was by Seagrape Bath and Body's Charcoal Detox Face and Body Wash. This soap was wonderful. I tend to have oily skin and I'm a bit acne prone. I used this on my face to start out and it left my skin feeling soft and not overly oily like some soaps do. I tried it as a body wash too. Worked wonderfully and it smells great. If you're worried about it staining your white wash cloths, don't. I tested it on mine and it came right out in the wash.
Abe's Market - Woman in the Man CaveThe next product I tried was Murchison-Hume's Superlative Fig Liquid Hand Soap. This stuff smells so good! It has a nice clean scent. It didn't do as good a job as the Common Good hand soap at cutting grease, but it left my hands moisturized and smelling great. I think it has to do with the shea butter used to make the soap.  I use this one in my bathroom, because the scent lingers in the air after washing your hands. I didn't really know what fig smelled like, but now that I do, I think I may just keep this as my bathroom hand soap of choice.
Abe's Market - Woman in the Man CaveThose are only a few of the many products you can find through Abe's Market. They have it all. If you're gluten-free, they have products especially for you. If you are sensitive to chemicals and harsh cleaning products, they have some great natural products you can try. Abe's Market has it all. From baby products, food, beauty, home, and even fashion. They have something for everybody! Thanks to Abe's, I don't have to shop at ten different stores to find products for my entire home. They have it all on one site which helps cut down my time looking for high-quality products that are safe for my family. Such a great store!                                                                                                                    Since you probably want to try Abe's for yourself, they are offering you the chance to be a Tastemaker and try all sorts of different products for just $2 each. Just go over to the right sidebar of Woman in the Man Cave and look for the Try for $2 box (affiliate link). Select that box and you'll be whisked away to the magical world of Abe's Market. Trust me, it's a great site with some really amazing products. While you're there, check out their magazine for recipes and other great tips.

I hope you give them a try this holiday season. You will find some really wonderful products for your friends and family from a company you can trust to deliver you high-quality products from some fabulous companies.

Thanks for reading and take care!

  11. I want to try the Seagrape Bath and Body's Charcoal Detox Face and Body Wash. I think I read it was good for acne too which at 47 I am having worse than I did as a teen.
