Mopping Made Easy

This past Christmas my in-laws purchased a Shark Professional Steam and Spray Mop for my husband and I for Christmas. Now, I am borderline OCD when it comes to cleaning. I like things to be really nice and clean so that it is a healthy environment for my family. As anyone with MS knows, with a compromised immune system it is important to maintain a healthy environment.

Now, when I first decided to forgo my mop and bucket for the Shark I was a little apprehensive. I thought it was like any other gadget on the market that was handy for a few attempts and then it fell to the "get rid of" pile. That was certainly not the case with my Shark Steam and Mop. I absolutely love this thing!

Not only does it produce a chemical-free steam to clean the floors, there is also an option to use a cleaning solution as well. This makes it nice when there are some nasty dog footprints from the slushy, dirty Ohio winters or tracks from boys who like to track their outside adventures onto my clean floors.

There is also the fact that I am using less water. Instead of filling up a bucket of water with a gallon or two of hot water, I am now only using a few cups of water to clean the entire house. Bonus! I'm saving water. Plus, the water I am using has not been used to dip my dirty mop into a dozen times. I get a continuous supply of clean steam that eliminates the germs. Plus, I like the idea of not having to use nasty chemicals all of the time.

Once I am finished cleaning my three rooms of laminate flooring and then the bathroom, I simply pull the cleaning pad off and stick it in my washing machine so it's nice and clean for my next use. The Shark is easty to store as well. Easy peasy! I am serious when I say that you are wasting time and money with your mop and bucket. This thing is great!

If you have considered switching from a dirty mop to a Shark Steam and Spray Mop I highly suggest you do. You'll save money, kill germs more effectively, and you'll save time by not having to dip a mop over and over. Change is difficult, but when it benefits your health and saves you money it's an excellent reason to change.

Thanks to my in-laws for such a great present!

Take care,
NB
