Get Your Pork On! Breaded Pork Nuggets Recipe

breaded pork nuggets recipe

My sons love chicken nuggets, but I get tired of making them. So, I decided to switch things up on them and make pork nuggets. Sorry, my kosher friends. This is the other white meat! You could always substitute the pork for chicken though. Works either way!

These are really simple and my boys really liked them. I served them up with a simple salad with salsa in place of salad dresssing. Good stuff!

    Breaded Pork Nuggets

1 1/2 - 2 pounds thin pork chops
1 cup panko bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine

  • Trim the fat off of the pork. Then, using a meat mallet, pound the meat until 1/4 inch thick.
  • Melt butter in bowl. Combine parmesan cheese, salt, and bread crumbs in seperate bowl. Dip pork pieces in butter and then dip in bread crumb mixture, coating pork completely.
  • Place in a single layer on two cookie sheets. Bake at 375° for 15-18 minutes or until no longer pink, turning once.

  • As always, thanks for reading.

    Take care,
    NB

    1. My family likes pork and these sound so good. I am going to try them because we get tired of just pork chops or pork roast. Thank you for sharing
