Fekkai Knows Good Hair
The fabulous team at Birchbox recently had a giveaway for their Birchbloggers and I won an amazing Fekkai hair product trio. So, I figured I'd fill you all in on the amazing products I received. Before I start though, if you are unfamiliar with Birchbox then you simply must be educated. I have been a Birchbox monthly box subscriber for going on two years. I absolutely love my monthly subscription box. Each month, I receive a wonderful little box of five or more high-end beauty samples. Everything from shampoo to perfume and even the occasional tea or treat. The people at Birchbox know how to make a girl feel pampered.

Cynthia Rowley and Birchbox Love!
Hello, again. If you've been reading my blog, you know I'm a huge fan of Birchbox. I love getting my monthly shipments of high-end beauty samples. It makes my visit to the mailbox enjoyable and I love trying lots of different products.
One of those products is the Cynthia Rowley Beauty collection which is exclusive to Birchbox. What?! That's right I said Cynthia Rowley Beauty! Not only is she busy working in fashion she has now released a line of cosmetics. Since I'm a Birchbox fanatic and I absolutely love Cynthia Rowley fashion I couldn't wait to try her beauty line. Everything from liquid eyeliner to creamy lip stains. She's outdone herself and you can only get this collection if you mosey on over to Birchbox (I'm telling you, you'll love that site!!).
I had the opportunity to try the entire beauty line, thanks to the amazing Birchbox crew. I was excited when I opened a gold box of Rowley. Inside was eyeliner, eyeshadow, a pair of sunglasses, lip stain, a beauty bag, and even a peanut butter bar. I just got Birchbox spoiled!
I had received a few Cynthia Rowley Beauty products in my monthly Birchbox shipments and I loved the liquid eyeliner. It was easy to apply and created a fine-lined look that didn't smudge. In my golden box of Cynthia Rowley Beauty shipment, I received all of the eyeliners. If you are going for that summery look that makes your eyes look like they are ready for summer love then you just have to try the Cynthia Rowley Beauty Eyeliner in Sky Blue or Violet, paired with the Eyeshadow Palette - No. 2. The palette offers a playful variety of colors called Confetti, Cotton Candy, Licorice, Cloud and Marshmallow.
To top this look off there is the Cynthia Rowley Beauty - Creamy Lip Stain Trio. With Tulip, Sugar, and Valentine lip stains you can decide what mood your lips are in. With the nude, subtle pink of Sugar to hot pink Valentine your look is all up to you. I am a little paler than paper (kidding...okay, almost true) so I really loved the Sugar Lip Stain. I can wear it to work or out with my husband for the evening. The whole Cynthia Rowley Beauty line offers that transition from serious to fun. That's what makes it such an asset to your makeup bag. Oh, and if you're in the market for a handy little makeup bag, you have to checkout the Confetti Neoprene Bag. It's durable, pretty, and can hold your eyeshadow, eyeliners, and some of those perfume samples you get from your Birchbox.
Since I know you're going to want some Cynthia Rowley Beauty for yourself, I wanted to let you know that if you make your way over to Birchbox and order $30 in Cynthia Rowley Beauty products you'll get a free Cynthia Rowley Beauty Eyeliner in Charcoal. That's one of the perks of shopping on Birchbox, they love to give you free stuff. Once you visit their shop, you just have to visit their 'Bonus Shop' to see what sorts of Freebies they are offering up at that time. Then, you select the ones your order qualifies for and add it to your cart. Free! See why I love Birchbox? They love you back!Well, I hope you take my amazing and valuable advice and go visit Birchbox. It's definitely worth the visit!
Thanks for reading.
Take care.

Birchbox?! What's that?
If you've visited my site before, you may have noticed a link to Birchbox along the top. Maybe you've seen the link and wondered what Birchbox was. Well, I'm going to fill you in on one of my favorite websites on the internet. Most days when I make the uneventful walk to the mailbox I know I will be greeted by bills or junk mail. On occasion, I'll receive my copy of Good Housekeeping magazine or a free product sample. I like those days, but most days it's just the plain old, boring mail. Not on Birchbox days though.
I can usually track my Birchbox and see where it is and when it will arrive at my door (they have a great iPhone app). Those are my favorite mail days. . . when that beautiful little box of high-end samples arrives in my little bright yellow mailbox. When I see it sitting in the mailbox I immediately know what awaits is something wonderful.
Now, I am a low maintenance, barely any makeup kind of woman. I have yet to figure out the art of applying eyeliner (one of these days I'll get it), but I absolutely love the samples I receive from my Birchbox each month. You see, when you subscribe to the service and get your profile created on their site, you go in and edit your 'Women's Subscription Profile'. It's easy, straightforward, and helps the Birchbox fairies pack your box with the samples that they think you will enjoy. You will receive everything from perfume samples, hair care, facial care, tea, makeup, and much more. These little samples have helped me find the brands I now love and use every week. For example, I discovered Shea Terra Organics through Birchbox. Yeah, that's right. I said organic. Even Birchbox knows some divas love their organic, natural, Fair-Trade products. Smart, huh?
By following this link (it's my personal referral link, I'm not being compensated for writing this post, but I can earn points for helping you love Birchbox just as much as I do): https://www.birchbox.com/invite/fwlgg
You can sign-up for your own subscription to Birchbox. When you arrive at the link's landing site you will see that you can select either a Woman's Subscription or a Men's Subscription (even men can get a Birchbox!). Select the one you are interested in. Select the option to either pay monthly for $10 or yearly for $110 (that's a free box each year) and hit 'Subscribe Now'. You'll fill in your information and when your subscription is ready, they'll let you know.
Maybe you aren't interested in subscribing to the monthly box. If that's the case then you can just peruse through the lovely items available on Birchbox and purchase what you want. There are lots of reviews to help you find the right products. Also, every time you shop you earn points on Birchbox that you can use to get free stuff. Win! I love this company. I think you will too.If you're not convinced, give the Birchbox subscription service a try. If you don't think it's something you might like, maybe you have a niece, daughter, best friend, or parent who would love it. Shoot, don't forget the guys either. A men's subscription would be a great, unique idea for the guys in your life (every time I get mine, my husband asks when he'll get his lol). It would make a great gift idea. I purchased my mother-in-law a Birchbox gift card for Christmas this past year and she used it to buy some of the tea they have available in their shop. She loved it.
Well, I think you get the idea. Go check Birchbox out and see what you think. I have a feeling you'll love it just as much as I do.
